I’m so excited about this sweater dress. It’s definitely fitted and I wonder if I’ll be self conscious. It’s so soft & comfy. The photos are of me in the XS. I exchanged for a SMALL just to get a bit more room in the fit & length in the sleeves. Me: 5’4”, 125lbs ish, 34D
This is a beautiful dress and fits me near perfectly. I love the color and it is very comfortable. My only complaint is that I can see the outline of my bra on the back but honestly I don't see how to avoid that with a sweater dress. The removable turtleneck makes this dress so versatile. The turtleneck in place with leggings and boots would be great for a more formal day and removing the turtleneck and wearing it just with flats would be great for a day out. It's even comfortable enough to just be worn at home if you are working from home. I'm 5'6" and the length is good. I'd like it a little longer but it is still a very flattering length that doesn't at all feel inappropriate. Love it!
I love sweaters, mock-necks, and know VETTA cotton to be really high quality. I was a little nervous about this because I am pear shaped and petite and worried it would ride up a lot on my hips. I got a size sm (my usual size) and actually found the fit to be just fine, there is a slight A-line to the dress which makes it not totally sheath shaped.
I didn’t like it on me, I am a medium in most Vetta but this was quite tight across my shoulders and small chest. The fabric is too thick for where I live so I sent it back. The convertible turtleneck is a really fun feature.
I can’t get enough of this dress! I have it in Donnegal from the last release, and purchased in terra-cotta this time around. I am thrilled to say that my normal size has worked through two trimesters of pregnancy, and the length is modest enough on my petite frame. The sash is long enough to fit around your natural waist or even a little lower. I do not recommend sizing down, as it is pretty snug in the arms. Wish there were more colors!
